Youth Co:Lab is driving the largest youth movement for empowerment, equality, social inclusion, and social justice in Asia and the Pacific. Created way back in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, the focal point of the movement is to invest in the youths of the Asia-Pacific region to bring forth Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), to establish the goals as quotidian agendas of such countries.

The Youth are set to work in the heart of the region to tackle the most compelling matters at play. Their entrepreneurship, social innovation, and leadership have been the driving force, bringing changes, so far in 28 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.

Jamroll partnered with Youth Co:Lab to plan and curate the event, Accelerator Bangladesh 2.0 which took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh back in 2019.This forum was jointly organized by the United Nations Development Programme – UNDP and CitiBank, N.A., in partnership with ICT Division and EMK Center.

The objective of the Accelerator Bangladesh 2.0 was to convene the most influential leaders of the startup ecosystem including government officials, private sector leaders, development practitioners, academicians, accelerators, and entrepreneurs to explore the leverage points of the ecosystem and cross-sector collaboration for the acceleration of SDGs achievement.

Jamroll designed the graphics for the event, building on the identity they created for the organization. Our designers worked closely on the project with Youth Co:Lab regional team and with their local coordinators. We developed a visual language that uses type, image, shape, and color to create a vibrant, powerful, and instantly recognizable look for the youth platform.

Portraits of the speakers and other branding collateral were distilled into stripe-like movement patterns which represent how Youth Co:Lab is mobilizing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Asia and accelerating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Typography is set in TT Norms, the typeface of the Youth Co:Lab identity, and color gradients and dynamic shapes gave the forum a feeling of change, transformation, and possibility.

In addition to planning, digital strategy, and integration, our team was responsible for the event-specific messaging and its application across all physical and digital elements such as signage, venue branding, speaker presentations, stage backdrop, publication, and more.
